Description: β-Carotene (beta-carotene) is an organic, strongly coloured red-orange pigment abundant in fungi, plants, and fruits. Derived from groups of orange, red, yellow pigmented fruits and vegetables, β-Carotene is one of carotenoids that is most commonly used to provide vitamin A to people. It has multiple benefits such as enhance vision health, antioxidant properties and reduce the risk of sunburn. In sport nutrition, it improves muscle strength and physical performance.
